We have planned a trip to Orlando for this coming June. We are staying 4 days in Disneyworld and 4 days in Universal. I would like to plan one day in Seaworld. I hope I am not taking on too much with adding another park. My daughter is such an animal lover (and I am too:lovestruc), and that is my argument with DH as to why we should spend a day in Seaworld. He and our two children love the rollercoasters also.

My question is: since we are only spending one day there, should I pay extra for the "quick queue"? I'm not sure what the lines will be like and if it worth the extra money. The date we will be going to Seaworld is June 17 which is a Thursday.

since there's only 3 major rides with a line, it's up to you. Some people swear by it... I've never had an issue with waiting.

You do know that you can come back for a second day free, right??

I'm not sure if we will be able to go back a second day. We have a 7-day pass for Universal and as it is, we're taking a day to do Seaworld and we only have 4 days there. My husband says it would be easier just to do Disney and Universal. But, I would love to visit Seaworld. I have to make a decision.

Thanks for your advice.

We visited Sea World during Easter week. As we are coaster fans, we purchased Quick Queue almost solely for multiple rides on Manta. It also cut waiting down from 40 minutes to 5 for Atlantis. Here's the but.

Early in the day Atlantis had a short line. So did the other coaster, Kraken. It was a walk-on until lunch time. Manta immediately developed a line that ranged from 30 minutes first thing to well over an hour later.

Quick Queue also has benefits at the shows, but you still need to arrive early if it is a busy time.

It's definitely mainly for Manta. Kracken just doesn't seem to be much of a draw anymore. Atlantis can be when it's hot out. Manta is the crowd-drawer and absolutely the best ride there. DH and I buy Quick Queue on crowded days just so we can marathon on it with minimal waits, especially since it still doesn't allow double rides with Platinum (their lame excuse is because of the double loading station, i.e. you can end up back in a different spot from where you start, but it's the same with Sheikra when three or five trains are running and Busch still manages to pull it off).

thanks for the information

I'm thinking we might actually use that 2nd day at Seaworld if the crowds for Harry Potter are unmanageable.

What is the Quick Queue, how do you purchase it and how much does it cost? I am going in August and might be interested in this.
Thanks!

Its on the seaworld orlando web site. There are different price ranges for this, depending on what time of the year you go.
