Quick Question

My family is booked for a stay at Kidani Village from 7/12-7/20 here in a few weeks. We are booked in a studio. Our magic bands have arrived, Magical Express tickets, etc are all here. If I wait list a 1 BR at Kidani, and it comes through, are there any ramifications for changing to that (loss of points, etc.)? Will my magic bands automatically switch over? I know it's late in the game, but I was thinking about doing it. All but 2 nights are available now, and would consider it if there are no ramifications. My acct. says 159 points available for 2014 (I have 161 tied up in my current stay), and 160 available for 2015. I would then cancel my current booking.

You would want to setup the waitlist so that it cancels your current reservation, otherwise your current reservation would go into holding.

Nothing is actually stored on the band except for the ID number. All it does is link to your online My Disney Experience account. When a reservation is changed, it is changed online and the band will read the new information.
