I can't remember if the Disneyland ride track/vehicle bounces up and down during the Tigger scene. It does at Disney World and it bothers my motion sickness to the point where I refuse to ride it anymore. I haven't been to DL since 2017 so I can't remember. Looking at a ridethrough on youtube, it looks like it doesn't, but I wanted to confirm before I ride. Thanks!

I think it does bounce at DL. Feels more like a couple bumps.

Definitely check with a cast member, they should be able to tell you for sure. I’m going in mid-July, and I wish I could ride again to tell you for sure, but I’m pretty sure the attraction will be closed while I’m there. It could be that I missed the bouncing because I’m concentrating too much on making sure I remember when to look up and behind me to see Max, Melvin and Buff from the old Country Bear Jamboree show.

I think I remember the feeling now from when riding it the first time. Those aren't an issue. It doesn't have the long Tigger scene like the WDW version does, where it does the bouncing up and down. So it should be safe to do. As long as the wait isn't too long that is- its last day before refurb is the first day of my trip. Thanks everyone!

It’s a cute little ride! Hope you get a chance to ride :)

I did ride it when I went to Disneyland in 2017 at least! I'm actually getting conflicting reports regarding when it is closed for refurb- some sites are saying the 6th, which I thought was the date, but others are saying the 5th. So it'll be a surprise whether or not it's open, haha!

EDIT: I just checked the park hours for 7/5 and 7/6 on the Disneyland official website. On the 5th, only Jungle Cruise is listed as down for refurbishment, but on the 6th, both JC and Pooh are listed. So sounds like I will be able to ride on the 5th!

I just rode it yesterday. It doesn't bounce. It just sways back and forth the tiniest bit, kind of like Alice when you go through the outside bit coming down.

I think it is supposed to feel like you are bobbing in the water... doesnt it start when the "rain rain rain came down down down?"

Yeah. Disneyland's version of the ride doesn't have a Tigger bouncing part unlike WDW, Hong Kong and Shanghai. The rain part in the Disneyland version is in the middle rather than the end and I feel like it has less movement than the WDW, Hong Kong and Shanghai versions but I can't really remember.

I don't remember if it bounces, but I get motion sick from seriously everything, and Pooh doesn't bother me.
Hope you are able to ride! 🙂
