Quick question - magic bands

Do we re-use magic bands or do they send new ones every time. Last time we were there (year and a half ago) was our first time with magic bands so I don't know what to expect this time. Thanks.

If you're staying on property you have the option of receiving new bands. You can decline them and reuse your old bands provided you are using the same MDE account. If you are using the same MDE account as your last trip then your bands are reusable. So if you opt to get new bands this trip you can use those bands or your bands from last trip.

The only "question" might be the batteries in your old bands. There doesn't seem to be an official battery life rating that I've seen, but "around two years" seems to be a common figure thrown around... but as they say "Your results may vary."
