Quick question: Dramamine in pill form ok in plane carry on?

I don't want to check it because I might need it on the plane. We are leaving soon for the cruise and I know I 'll need it on the Magic.. and possibly the airplane.

I haven't flown in over 5 years, so I don't know what to do!

Pill form will be fine! (Although as I recall from traveling with my motion sickness prone daughter you'll need to take Dramamine about an hour before you fly anyway!)

The ONLY ONLY ONLY new restrictions about things carried on a domestic commercial flight have to do with liquids. LIQUIDS. If you're talking about solid pills, then there's no restriction.

I take Meclizine (Bonine/Less Drowsy Dramamine are the brand names), and you take it once a day. You could easily take it the night before you fly and pack it in your luggage. Once you are motion sick, it's TOO LATE for the pills to do much good.

This is correct. You need to take Dramamine before flying, so just take it before checking in at the airport, then put in it your checked baggage. You won't need it during the flight.

I always need dramamine for flying....but I do take it closer...only about 1/2 hour before flying. So it sounds like you can carry it on anyway.

Yes, you can carry pills on board, but why not only take what you need for the flight, and check the rest in your luggage? I get sea sick cruising, but not motion sick from flying so you just don't know if you will have a problem til you do. If you've ever had a problem flying, I'd take it before I boarded and it will last the whole flight.
