Quick question--Arriving on 10/1

My friends are arriving on 10/1. Can they book the kids stay free package for their entire trip? I know the rules changed recently, but I wanted to check.

I know that with such packages like Free Dining if you check-in on the last day it's available you will still get it for your whole trip, so I assume the same is true for the Kids Stay & Play Free Package. So hopefully someone can confirm what I said because I am not 100% sure if this is still true.

However I do know for previous room only discounts once the promotion for it finished then your rates would go up if you were staying past that date. On the previous Fall/Winter room only package for 2010 and Annual Pass rates for 2010 I put in some dates arriving the last day those promotions were available. On the check-in day which was the last day of the promotion you would get the discounted rate, however the next day the rate went up.

So because WDW did that with room only promotions I am not sure what they now do with package deals.

As long as you check in before the promo end date you can stay up to 14 days past the promo end date and get the promo like free dining
