This would be for Aug 8th and 9th. Will be attending conference till 5 each day but want to visit if possible / practical. Are there any discounts available? Coming from Vancouver, WASHINGTON. The conference is a ways away..

I believe there are discount tickets for late entry that are only available to people attending conventions or conferences. You can't buy them at the gates. They have to be purchased through the organization that puts on your conference. Check with your conference organizers to see if they will be making these tickets available. If not and you go directly to the gates, I believe you will have to pay full price.

Some conference offer special "twilight tickets" which are only sold through their conference link and are not available anywhere else. Over the past few years, those have gotten pretty expensive, though. We have been traveling to Anaheim yearly. DH has a conference, DD1, DD2, and I do the parks. We used to get a twilight ticket for him but at some point realized that it wasn't much less than a one-day-ticket (at a reduced conference rate, sold through the same link), so we went with that instead. In case he gets out of lectures early that day, it provides us with more flexibility.
