How much are they in the parks?

If the price is different for adult or child's- then how much are the adults and how much are the childs? (let me know if you are telling me the price with or without tax also please)

Thanks in advance, if you can help me with this question!

Doesn't anyone know? Or is everyone sleeping at this hour.....

LOL

...but are you sleeping at this hour?

Anyway, I think that I read in my tour book that they are about $6. I'd image that it doesn't include tax either.

Maybe someone else can help when they wake up...

LOL :p

They have been $5 every time we have gone down. I now take mine with me every time we go.

we got them once for 5.00 each (times 6!)that was too much since they were not very sturdy! My DH is big, and has a rather big, thick neck. He had to tear his to fit on his neck, and it continued splitting down the front. by the end of the day it was useless! now we get ours at the dollar store before we go. the pkg. is small, so they are easy to pack, they are 2 for 1.00, so we can throw them out at the end of the trip if we want to, plus, we can spot each other in the rain easily, because our ponchos are a different color than the rest of the crowd! And the quality of the dollar store ponchos was the same as the WDW ones!;)

We also get cheap ones that we can throw away. It's impossible to fold those things up as small as they originally were after you get them out of the package, and it's no fun dragging around large wet ponchos for the rest of the day.

Thanks everyone!
I also took a cheapy one from Walmart on the last trip but I wanted to get the kids different themed ones (for instance my daughter likes the princesses, my son likes Buzz- yanno?)

I knew how much they were for the themed ones in the catalog (disneystore.com) but they are cheaper online at other auction places. HOWEVER, I didn't want to spend WAY more than I could just buy mickey ones at WDW. So that is why I asked. I mean if the plain yellow ones with Mickey on them were say $10- then I could certainly justify spending that much or a teensy bit more for a cute one themed more for my child- yanno?

But they are only $5.... so now I know that anything over $5 is just paying for the theming and can take that into consideration before I buy them!

Thanks bunches!

We used Dollar Tree 2 for $1 ponchos on our September trip when it rained every day except the last. I'm fluffy and even with the backpack on, the poncho covered everything well. When the rain would let up, we would take them off, shake the water off and as neatly as possible fold them and then stuff them into a gallon sized ziploc bag to be stored in the backpack. It worked well for us. Mickey

I didn't get mine THAT cheap.. but I think it was maybe $2.50 or something. And it was orange so I didn't look like everyone else putting ponchos on to ride the wet rides (it didn't rain while I was there- maybe at night but I can't remember if it did LOL).

But it did work great. That is probably the route I should go. Except I already got my youngest a darling Princess raincoat. Couldn't resist. Atleast I won't lose her in a mass of yellow mickey ponchos. ;)

The kids ones are $5 and the adult ones are $6. They only come with Mickey on them. (with the exception of if you buy them in AK. They have their own poncho design. Tan with green Disney AK logo i think.)

The Wal-Mart in Kissimee (sp?) had tons of them for slightly cheaper i think ($4) and they had other characters besides Mickey on them. (i saw Minnie and a few Pooh characters) They also came in different colors as the "park" ones only come in yellow. (again, except for the AK ones.)

We always bring one or two cheapo's just in case, but we did buy nicer adult ones at a camping store ($6-7 bucks) and have been using them for @3 years. I carry a big roomy bag and always have a few large ziplock bags in there to protect cameras and such from the rain, so i just ball up the wet ponchos and hang them out to dry when we return to the resort at night.
