We are doing a split check in to take advantage of free dining this sept. We are getting a room only on sept 1. and a magic your way package sept 2-6. My question is on the 2nd, will we be able to use our park tickets before we are allowed to recheck in at the hotel that day?

You can actually check in on the 2nd as early as 6:00 am I believe. (You can check in when the computers roll over to the new day.) Your room may not be ready that early, but you can get your KTTW cards with the tickets loaded on them, and then they'll text you when your room is ready.

Your park tickets are part of the package that starts on Sept 2. You could either:

-pick up your park tickets on Sept 1. Here's a link to the ticket sticky that is maintained by a CM who is in ticketing that explains how to pick up the tickets up to 3 days before the start of your package. It's in post 15-I:

-or wait until Sept 2, but you will have to first re-check into the resort to get your KTTW cards that include your park tickets and dining credits. You can check in after the computers roll over at 6:00AM.
