Quick Question about Cake decorating at Amorette's

So, I have not yet managed to get a reservation for Dec 2018 to do this, but I am hoping to. The page for the cake decorating says:

"$149 plus tax, which covers up to 2 Guests decorating one cake. Guests must be at least 10 years of age to participate. If you wish to make a reservation for more than 2 people, you will need to make more than one reservation."

Does this mean that only 1 reservation is needed for 2 adults to decorate a cake together?

Have the dates for December really been released and they booked before I could make my reservations or are the dates "loaded" but with no reservations? (I saw a couple threads about this happening last year)

Make a reservation for two if two people will be attending. You’ll pay the $149 at the end of the event. If you want to decorate two cakes, make separate reservations.

Pretty sure the dates have been released. I booked at my 180 day for thanksgiving week.
