Hi everyone!

We are 72 hours away from leaving for our adult only trip!:cool1:

There are 5 couples heading down to BWV and we chose this resort because of the short walk to epcot. Having said that the day we are visiting epcot, the park opens at 9 but the world showcase does not open until 11.

If we want to get in by 9 or so are we going to have to take a bus to the main entrance or will we be aloud to go through the entrance by france even through world showcase is not open?

Thanks!

Hi, you can still get into the outer area of WSC (England) from the entrance by BWV. Go to the left when you get in to go to Future World. The bridge to the main part of WSC will be roped off until 11 when you enter the park on your right.

You can also take a boat from BWV into Epcot if you want. We usually walk but it is an option.

Enjoy! Your weather looks to be pretty darn near perfect.

Epcot resort guests can use the International gateway (IG) to enter Epcot. It is a short 10 minute walk from BWV and you will enter at the same time as guests entering from the front main gate.

The cast members will direct you to the left away from the World Showcase unless you are having Breakfast at one of the countries.

If my memory services me correctly, there are no busses from BWV or any of the other Epcot resorts to Epcot...because you the access to the IG.

If you time it correctly you could also catch the boat from the dock at BWV over to the IG, but unless you have people who are really slow or have mobility issues, walking is always faster than the boats.

:thumbsup2 Just returned - correct on all three counts

And for me, one of the most pleasant things to do is sit in UK before 11:00 (the CMs don't try to encourage you to head to FW) and listen to the "bush music" or, if you've seen "Mr. Holland's Opus", listen to them "play the sunset" ("On the Shore" by A Belk). During the F&W festival, one of our favorite things to do is grab a bench and study our F&W festival guide before WS opens.

You can now even go over the bridge into France to have breakfast in the new bakery there.

One thing to remember, if Soarin is important to you there is no way you can walk fast enough to beat the people comming in through the main entrance. This may cause you a slight wait to get on the ride.

You can still enter thru world showcase! One of the best parts of staying an Epcot resort is being able to walk to the park. It's so peaceful walking thru an empty WS in the morning! Have a great trip!
