From PO Riverside?

We will have a car and will be taking advantage of a.m. EMH. No park hopping, though depending on how the day flows, we are open to a mid-afternoon break, though not planning on it.

Drive or rely on Disney transportation?

Thank you!!!!!

We had no problem using Disney transportation, including for EMH at AK. I LOVE AK morning EMH. It was empty when we were there.

Uber! it cost $8.18 from the Swan to AK for AM EMH, took 9 minutes & 35 seconds (way less time than the bus), and actually managed to drop us closer to the gate. The cost & duration is directly from the Uber app...

Since we were "on property" guests we just showed our Swan keys and the driver didn't have to pay parking to drop us off since it wasn't an official taxi.

I personally would always go with driving yourself over using the Disney buses. Faster imo

DAK is the only parking lot that has had a history of not always being open very early in the mornings.
All other parks' lots are open well before early ADR times and AM EMH.
Not necessarily so all mornings at DAK.

Sometimes, yes. Sometimes, no.

Was at Riverside this past week. Bus transportation was very good for all parks except Magic Kingdom. Would sometimes see 2-3 virtually empty busses for the other parks and Disney Springs before a single MK bus would come by. Very frustrating.

Thanks everyone... will def consider the bus! Best guess time estimates... i.e.. when to hit the bus stop and how long the ride will take to get to AK?

Hoping the bag check lines will go quickly and that we can get right thru... will be our first time staying on property in 20 years and the first time w/ Magic Bands... first time to visit AK... lots of firsts!!!!! Thank you!

Does the AK bus still stop at Blizzard Beach? Or has that stopped with the new transportation changes? We always thought we were going to get to AK early, but by the time we stopped at BB, it seemed to take forever.

The only issues we have ever had with buses while at WDW were the ones going to MK and then coming back from Disney Springs.

One morning we sat and waited for an MK bus and we counted at least 5 buses each for the other parks. And that was early in the morning. Never had a problem going to AK, Epcot or DHS.
