Quick place to eat at MGM?

Is there a decent, quick place to eat at MGM? We're not looking for a full-service rest., just a good counter service. Or maybe we should take the boat over to World Showcase for a better selection? Is that worth it timewise?

Try the Backlot Express, it's also a great place to catch the parade. I don't think it is very timewise to travel over to Epcot for a quick bite.

Sci-Fi is a sit down, but if you go during an off time like 11am, you'll get great service and it's great atmosphere.

ABC Commionsary is a lunch counter type place - the quick lunch I had there in December wasn't bad

We just had lunch at the ABC Commissary on Tuesday. It was a nice change from burgers and fries! I had veggie lo mein noodles, DH had some kind of tabouleh (I have no idea how to spell that) wrap, and of course, the boys had burger and fries. They also served fish and chips and chicken tenders (both available in kids meals).

I would suggest Sunset Ranch Market. It is on Sunset Blvd. by ToT and RnRC. They have everything...pizza, chicken, burgers.....and even McD's fries! We love the pizza there at Catalina Eddies. It is a flatbread pizza with GREAT sauce!!! You can find great menus at www.wdwig.com
