Quick overview of a great trip

Hi guys. I see everyone is waiting for photos. I haven't been on here today :scared1: .... unbelievable :rotfl: Our household is suffering jetlag like never before. DD fell asleep at lunch time on Sunday after we got back and slept for 6 hours. I couldn't get her to budge. Of course at 8 pm she wanted 'lunch' and got very upset when I gave her the meal and told her it was dinner. She was up every hour during the nights so we felt awful yesterday. She didn't want dinner. Last night was worse. She only fell asleep after midnight and woke up at 1 am saying it was dinner time and she was starving. I went and heated up her meal (too exhausted to argue). She went back to bed just before 2 am only to wake me up for breakfast. In my daze I went and made it for her only to discover it was 3 am  She had the TV on, lights on and disturbed me for some emergency every 20 minutes. This morning I awoke to some horrendous pounding noise. My mum was at the front door frantic as I hadn't been answering my phone. Honestly, I had no clue where I was. I was looking around for my room key (KTTW card) so I could get in after breakfast but since I was in my house, not at POFQ where I thought I was, it was nowhere to be found. :rolleyes1 Mum helped get DD ready and asked about the alarm clock on the staircase , as well as other things lying in odd places. I had obviously woken with the three alarms I set for the morning and walked around and placed them out of earshot :rotfl: I have no recollection. It was already 9.30 so I had to phone work and couldn't remember the number. It's amusing now, but I was panick stricken. I never had this with the Manchester flight as our connection only got here by late afternoon so we would crash at about 7 pm, sleep through and get back on track more or less the next morning. Oh well, it was still worth everything. We had an amazing time. Just thought I would stop in and let you know that you are certainly not forgotten. :grouphug:

I was also really upset on Sunday when I opened my newly purchased Disney Photo Gallery CD to discover the box was empty. I emailed Photopass, but they haven't got back to me. It is still annoying me as the phone lines open from 9am to 1pm EST so I can't seem to get hold of them. Any suggestions?

 DH and I have both been there, I woke up in the middle of the night convinced we were in a ride in Epcot (like a scene of a ride, not that it actually exists in real life :confused3). It was horrible I expected the lights to come on and a car full of people to be sat there looking at us in bed :scared1:
DH fell asleep (on a different trip) downstairs, woke up with a start, stared at the curtains and wondered why our curtains were in the Boardwalk Hotel :rotfl: Poor fella, I just burst out laughing and scared him even more :lmao:
I hate jet lag, I find it so hard to stay awake during the day and then am wide awake until the early hours, when we get back off our next trip I have 4 days until I'm back to work but poor DH is working the next day :sad2: He's going to do short days.

I hope you and your DD start feeling better soon

I'm sorry to hear about your missing CD, I hope you eventually get through to someone who can help. I would like to know what you think of the CD when you do get it.

Hope you've got over your jet lag and feeling a bit better:hug:

Thank you. Yes, feeling a bit better now - especially since I spent my lunch hours pricing up 2011 Disney pacakages :lmao: I am a bit sad that I need to delete my tickers (well not the exact ones as so many disappeared .....) that have been with me since I registered with the DIS - but I do need to make room for new ones. ;)

I am going to start typing up my TR tonight. :)

Yay Can't wait to read that - how is the tiredness now?

Feeling much better now. Still lethargic, but just the usual first week feeling. I have done countless longhaul flights and further afield than Florida but I have never been hit by it this badly. It just occurred to me that we usually sleep all the way home on the plane though. Hmm, maybe it IS worth saving a bit longer for PE seats ....

My first page TR is up. I don't know how to put a link into my signature though.
