Quick overview of a great trip

I am so pleased you had a wonderful time. We stayed at POFQ last year - had a stunning room in block 2 overlooking the river and with the taxi boat stop right outside our room (great when we could wait inside with the air-con).

I loved Fantasmic we did the full queue last year as I was desparate to see it - we chatted to a lovely older american couple and sat with them too - the time just flew - this year we are doing the Fantasmic Package with dinner at The Hollywood Brown Derby first.

I cannot wait to see some pictures - it just makes me so excited that we will be there in 3 days!!!:banana::cheer2::cheer2:

Welcome back. Glad you had a wonderful trip! :)

Welcome home!! :thumbsup2

SO glad you had a wonderful trip, and I'm looking forward to your trippy and photos!

I agree about Fantasmic... Saw it for the 1st time in April, not sure I'd bother again! Wishes and Illuminations are much better.

Also agree about some people who have no idea where they are going... I'm just too much of a Monica not to have read books, looked online, and bought maps before I go anywhere! :lmao:

Sounds like you had a fab trip!! Looking forward loads to seeing those pictures too :)

Welcome home Lee, so glad you had a great time, and really looking forward to hearing more about it:cheer2:

Welcome back.

I agree about fantasmic, we did first trip in 2007 and haven't seen it since as it just seems to much hassle:confused3

Our first visit was for 7 days in 1995-loved it but not enough time!

The second trip was for ten days in 1997-it went by too fast!

The third trip was for three weeks in 2000-had built in lots of down days but still not enough!

Next trip 03 Nov 10 for 25 days-14 days and counting!!:banana::banana::banana:

There is never enough time to do everything:rotfl2:

Hi guys. I see everyone is waiting for photos. I haven't been on here today :scared1: .... unbelievable :rotfl: Our household is suffering jetlag like never before. DD fell asleep at lunch time on Sunday after we got back and slept for 6 hours. I couldn't get her to budge. Of course at 8 pm she wanted 'lunch' and got very upset when I gave her the meal and told her it was dinner. She was up every hour during the nights so we felt awful yesterday. She didn't want dinner. Last night was worse. She only fell asleep after midnight and woke up at 1 am saying it was dinner time and she was starving. I went and heated up her meal (too exhausted to argue). She went back to bed just before 2 am only to wake me up for breakfast. In my daze I went and made it for her only to discover it was 3 am  She had the TV on, lights on and disturbed me for some emergency every 20 minutes. This morning I awoke to some horrendous pounding noise. My mum was at the front door frantic as I hadn't been answering my phone. Honestly, I had no clue where I was. I was looking around for my room key (KTTW card) so I could get in after breakfast but since I was in my house, not at POFQ where I thought I was, it was nowhere to be found. :rolleyes1 Mum helped get DD ready and asked about the alarm clock on the staircase , as well as other things lying in odd places. I had obviously woken with the three alarms I set for the morning and walked around and placed them out of earshot :rotfl: I have no recollection. It was already 9.30 so I had to phone work and couldn't remember the number. It's amusing now, but I was panick stricken. I never had this with the Manchester flight as our connection only got here by late afternoon so we would crash at about 7 pm, sleep through and get back on track more or less the next morning. Oh well, it was still worth everything. We had an amazing time. Just thought I would stop in and let you know that you are certainly not forgotten. :grouphug:

I was also really upset on Sunday when I opened my newly purchased Disney Photo Gallery CD to discover the box was empty. I emailed Photopass, but they haven't got back to me. It is still annoying me as the phone lines open from 9am to 1pm EST so I can't seem to get hold of them. Any suggestions?

Welcome home!
I was the same way (though perhaps not quite so delirious :lmao:), and didn't get back into the swing of this time zone until Wednesday/Thursday-ish last week. :headache:
I agree with everyone else, I want pictures! (But when you're not dead on your feet, obv)

Welcome home hun. I missed ya:thumbsup2 glad you had a fab time and everything went well. Sorry to here abt ur photocd. What on earth have they done with it? I hope they have a record of your pics. Cant wait to read ur trippie. I said today to my friend "4weeks ago i was on the plane to disney" and dopped my lip. Still we are planning our next one for next year so its not all gloom and doom. Just dont know what to do where to stay whether to do on or off or both or cruise or...............confused. Taking my mom though so hv to consider her. Glad dd enjoyed the suprise. Loved the relevation photos.x

glad you had a great time, we loved po too.
as for jet lag, we really struggled this year too...much more than on previous trips..dont know why. maybe im getting old:lmao:
look forward to photos
tx

Wow Tiggies, that's some bad jetlag - maybe it's worse in Scotland :confused3
I remember some bad child related jetlag/sleeping issues myself so can fully sympathise, but that really sounds horrendous! Hope you get over it soon :goodvibes

Wow DH and I were just saying that the jet lag was a horrible this time. We still feel out of it today and also slept oddly and woke up at weird times.

No idea why it has been so bad this time either its never been this bad before.

Still we had snow today so that was nice :scared1: apart from the fact that last week i was wondering what shorts to wear and not where my gloves and scarf were :rotfl:

Hi Alyson. It isn't actually my photos. It is Disney's Photo Gallery CD. I purchased it for $40 so I could use the images in my scrapbooking, etc so at least it wasn't my pics. I am just frustrated because I have spoken to someone from the resort, the gift shop, the mail order service, general support ..... I keep getting put through to someone else who tells me to speak to xyz, transfers me and repeats the whole process.

Ours was purely timing - if DD had managed to keep awake (if I had kept a closer eye on her) until 6 or 7 pm UK time we would have gone to bed as usual. I could easily have been in bed early that night but since she had slept nearly 7 hours in the day and woke up at bed time, she was then up all night and it took until last night before I got her to bed before 9 and she slept through. It was just me being too tired to bother. Now it is sleeting icy showers here and I am feeling miserable. I spent my lunch hour looking at flights to Orlando :rotfl:
