Hi all.

I’ve seen a few (reasonably) recent posts where people have mentioned making reservations at Monkeypod, however every time I go to their website, I see the message that they are not currently accepting reservations. Wondering if I’m missing something or whether there is some super-secret workaround?

All responses appreciated.

Much appreciated. Maybe I need to clear cookies on my browser or use a vpn to look like I’m in the US, as I’m still seeing the ‘no reservations’ message when I go to their website.

I'm in Australia and the bookings page looks ok to me - i can see availability through the next few weeks :confused3

It's too soon for me to make a reservation on Open Table (we are going in May) but sadly it looks like you can't make a reservation for a party of 6 (online through OT). I guess as I get close, I will try calling them to see if they can work with my party (6 adults).

The two MonkeyPod locations on Maui were not taking any reservations, it was walk up only both (Sept/Oct & November). I'm unsure about Ohau location. Do check their Facebook pages or call to verify.

What dates are you looking for? They seem
Only to be taking reservations 90 days out.
They had tons of same day reservations- so maybe things are calming down there

I wanted to book happy hour for my April 3-8 stay and it's all booked up. I was able to snag a 5pm reservation but I'm guessing I won't be able to get happy hour prices. Those of you that use open table regularly, do you see the openings fluctuate? I'm hoping something earlier opens up. Thanks!

They don't reserve every table, they definitely hold some percentage for walk-up guests. If you show up early, put your name in, and then kill some time exploring the shops around that plaza, they should be able to seat you.

We were there yesterday. Quite full
But not crazy. We walked up at 6:45 for a party of 4 and were sat immediately. Even though OT showed no reservations available. The restaurant said they hold back a large number of tables for walk up availability.
