hi guys.

We've always flown out from either Detroit or Buffalo, so we tagged our bags so they would pull them and deliver to our room. We plan on leave Toronto for our upcoming trip, and I read that if you fly a Canadian airline that you need to collect your bags and bring them with you and that they won't pull them and deliver to the room. Based on having to go through customs? Was this person right? If so we may go back to a stateside flight. I don't want to lug the big bags from the airport lol.

No. If you are flying out of Toronto, you will go through customs in Toronto. Tag your bags and meet them in your room.

Only time you EVER need to collect your bags when you fly from TO is if your flight lands after 10 p.m. and even then it's only from the luggage carousel to the bus since you clear customs in Toronto.

What's frustrating is also adjusting to not being able to use the airline check-in desk for your bags on at the Resort since you're not flying domestically in the U.S. on the way home. Oh well, you get half the benefit on the way down.

See this I came to terms with. We fly 6am. So check out morning we leave bags with bell services. Then we usually close a park (MK has been 12-2am many of our trips), grab DME or a cab to the airport and the kids crash on the floor for a couple of hours, check into the flight and they sleep the whole way. It's how we get that extra day at Disney without deluxe room prices that night lol. So even when flying USA we've never used the airport bag check. I just hate the idea of collecting bags upon arrival. I just want to get out of that airport and on our way! We assume luggage won't show for 8 hours and are happy if it
