Just got our Magic Bands yesterday for our 9/24 trip! :yay: I have a very small wrist and find that I have to fold the end of the band over under the main part to make it fit fairly snugly. My question is can I cut some of the end off so that I don't have to fold it over so much? It shouldn't affect it in any way, correct? I don't want to take any chances on messing it up!

Also, the luggage tags were tucked into the end of the box and the plastic attachment thingies were tucked into the piece the Magic Bands were on FYI!

Thanks!

Angi beat me to it, I have silly tiny wrists and have to remove the gray part. If you haven't already done it, just do a double check first to make sure you are going to have at least one hole for each tabby thingy (technical term) to get into. I can go 3 or 4 holes in but just double check first before you pull the gray part off.

I didn't even think to read the darn thing (bad habit I have) but there were the instructions..duh! Yes I can go in about 3 holes too. Thank you!

My wrist is small enough that the excessively long band is annoying, but not quite small enough to pull the grey bit off (I use the last colored hole and first gray hole when fastening the band). The excess band bugged me, so I now do surgery on magic bands when they arrive. I cut off about 5 holes worth of the gray part and use a nail file or sandpaper to smooth the cut edge. I find it much more comfortable. I have used both scissors and an Xacto knife to do the cutting. Scissors worked the best for me.

I did this as well (although I still prefer the Magic Keeper on a lanyard.)

I'm just glad to hear they kept the instructions in the new package. I hadn't looked for them so I wasn't 100% they were there. Ya never know with Disney these days
