We will be in Orlando for World Archery tournament at the convention center. We are going to stay WDW and uber to the convention center for the tournament. We will only be there for 3 nights/2 full days.

I have a PIN code for the return to the summer magic offer... and am trying to decide between POP (inexpensive), CBR (second least expensive), or PO-French Quarter. First thing, any of the resorts with the murphy bed will be a huge plus, so my teen and pre-teen daughter won't have to sleep together. Second, we like hot tubs. :)

We are basically staying disney for ME and to have more entertainment during the day without going to a park. We have stayed at POR and CBR and will be staying ASMu in June for Beta Convention.

Is POFQ worth the $60/night? CBR is $40/night but with the construction and things closed... it seems that it may negate the whole reason we are going- unless it may be less crowded due to the construction-- of course, it is irritating that I decided to do this too late to get the gift card per night.

Help?! Thank you!

CBR is the only one of those three that have the murphy bed and you won't be guaranteed to get one of those rooms unless you have five people in your party. POFQ would definitely be more relaxing then POP and you have the choice to use POR pool if you choose. We love the whole Port Orleans area and the boat ride to Disney Springs so I would choose POFQ out of those three. Also, you will have full size beds instead of queen size if you stay at POP. We have had four wonderful trips to POP, but now that our kids are bigger we just can't share full size beds anymore.

What about All Star Music family suite? If those are available at a discount for your trip

It has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, living area with a small kitchenette, full-size sofa bed, twin-size sleeper chair, and a sleep ottoman (which I hear is not comfortable), small table and a couple of chairs, 2 bathrooms, 2 closets

If it is available, it will be close in price to the POR room

I would pick POR in your example - but, your girls will have to share a queen-size bed - the child-size murphy is only guaranteed for groups of 5

Also, a warning - I was at a convention in January by the convention center - traffic can get very backed up - allow yourself extra time to get there

We have luckily gotten a murphy bed each time we have stayed, but it is fine if we don't get it. I don't think we would be happy in full-size beds and I think we would definitely miss the convenience of towels at the pool and a hot tub. We found POR very crowded last time we were there, I was hoping POFQ might be a little less so?

When we stayed at POR the summer before last - yes, I found the pool area to feel crowded at times and finding lounge chairs together could be difficult (but, I find no matter how much you pay for a Disney hotel, it's an issue at all of them). We often used one of the smaller pools closer to the building we were in.

I have not stayed at POFQ - I believe it has less than half of the number of rooms as POR. That also translates to a smaller food court and only one main pool. If POFQ comes up as a choice under your pin-code discount, I would probably choose it. Those rooms are rarely discounted - I believe one of the only times they are is with a targeted pin-code discount.

We found everything to be crowded... the food court was extremely busy every single time we were in there and not always at key times and the hot tubs were at capacity the majority of the evenings. I loved it otherwise, though... POFQ is included in the PIN... I'm thinking that may be the best and can experience a difference resort.

It's now down to POFQ or Pop. $190 more for POFQ/POR... really only Friday and Saturday at the resort, but I'm thinking it may be worth it for the bigger beds, hot tubs, and peaceful environment. Anyone think it's not worth the extra $$?

I would go for POFQ. If the hot tub is important to you, this is the way to go. I don't think Pop has hot tubs.

Have a great trip!
