WE are here at disney now. It appears I have a stress fracture in my right foot - don't want give up last day at park like DH is wanting. Can someone tell me what a scooter will cost to rent today

Just reading the boards now. This information is probably too late since you just needed one for today, but here's the answer anyway ... Hope you're having a good last day at the parks!

Cost to rent a scooter/ECV from Disney (from Stroller/ECV Prices Go Up!):

ECV's are now $50 ($70 with a $20 deposit returned at the end of the day)

For renting from an outside vendor, it's a little cheaper but probably not useful for your need today. The main advantage is that you get to keep the ECV the whole time so you can use it when traveling to/from the parks. Several people (including myself) have used Deckert Surgical in Santa Ana (714-542-5607). My cost a month ago was $170 for 5 days = $34/day. OC medical now has a rental facility at Ramada Maingate.
They are usually open all day..nice equipment and great rental fees.

Why not call the Park and ask to get current info for today regarding pricing, availability, procedure, etc... since you are there?
