Quick HDDR question

Can someone tell me approx how long the dinner/show is? For example, if I have a 7:15 ressie, will it be over by 9:00pm?? TIA!

I believe it was about 1.5 hours. You could check the show schedule... I believe they have them at 2 hr increments. The show is incredible, and the food delish!

Thanks! Do you think it's a good place to make an ADR for our arrival day (we get into MCO @ 12:00 noon and will spend the day relaxing)?

We tried to get to Poly to watch fireworks after, but DH was driving and got lost, so we watched from the car. I would suggest taking the ferry over right after the show lets out. Of all the shows and character meals we have done, HDDR is the one my kids have asked to repeat on our next trip.

No worries... happy to help! We did the 7:15 show. BTW... my kids were 8 and 3 when we went. Both enjoyed it, and the 8 yr old got most of the jokes. Your kids are great ages for this.

We LOVE the HDDR and try to fit it in each trip. I believe that it is closer to 1 hour and 45 minutes, so I think the 7:15 show will finish very close to 9. I could be wrong about this, though; I tend to overindulge a little on the yummy all-you-can drink sangria, so my judgment may be a bit off! I couldn't imagine a better way to kick off your vacation as a first night celebration.

The only potential problem about booking it for the first night is that cancellations must be done 48? hours in advance for a full refund. That means if your travel is delayed for any reason, you'd lose your money (though maybe trip insurance would cover this if there's a problem, I've never investigated that).

The last time we went we were staying at the Poly; we took a bus from FW to TTC and we were back in our room about 20 minutes after the show ended. Double-check to be sure that this bus still runs at the time of your trip. There's great viewing of Wishes from either TTC ferry dock or the Poly beach, which is a very short walk from the TTC.
