Quick GoPro clarification question.

Ok, going to Disney tomorrow! Now, I know the selfie sticks are banned, but I do have like...I guess best way to describe it is a yellow handheld floating tube that my GoPro came with that it connects to. It doesn't extend, and it isn't very big. I'm wondering if I'll be able to bring it into the parks. Does anyone know? Thanks.

If it doesn't extend, it's okay. I've seen the yellow floating grip around the parks a lot, you should be fine.

They are called grips and they are fine. They are expressly mentioned on the rules as being fine (or where when it was first announced)
Bag check will quiz you and examine it to be sure it doesn't extend. If you get one that has never dealt with one before you may find he checks with a supervisor but they are fine.
We skip all that and just stick the grip in our pocket. It can really delay getting through bag check

You can use the sticks that don't expand. Seen a ton of people with them.

Yeah we had no issues getting in with it.

I had both a floating GoPro handle/stick and a GorillaPod in my bag last trip. They checked that they don't extend, and let me through with a smile.
