Hey all, this is my first post to this board. I thought I would share a recipe that has gotten me out of a pinch a time or two!

This is a very easy to make chicken recipe that is perfect for fall and winter. It roughly takes 30-45 minutes all total.

4 Thawed Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
1 Can Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
1 Bottle (16 oz)Catalina French Dressing
1 Pkg Onion Soup Mix

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Clean Chicken breasts, tenderize briefly and place in lasagna style casserole dish. Mix together French Dressing and Lipton Soup Mix. Stir in berries until they are stirred through. Drizzle mixture overtop chicken breasts until they are smothered. Keep out a little of the mixture to heat on the stove for later.

Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until Chicken has reached an internal temp of 185 degrees. Serve over bed of CousCous or rice Pilaf and with a side of veggies.

My DH loves this and the kids will eat it to. It has a sweetness to it and the sauce helps tenderise the meat while it bakes. Quick Easy ad Good! Who could ask for more!

:welcome:

This recipe is right up my alley, less than 5 ingredients!:thumbsup2 Thanks for sharing!:)

That sounds yummy! I have a wonderful 4-ingredient sauce for meatballs that has gotten me through a pinch as well: take 2 lbs of hamburger and mix with one egg and about a quarter cup of powdered parmesan cheese.
Roll into meatballs and cook in a covered oven safe dish for about 45 minutes in a 350 oven. Take the meatballs out with a slotted spoon and discard the remaining grease, etc. from the pot.
Transfer the meatballs back to the covered dish.
In a bowl, mix the sauce: one jar generic grape jelly and one jar generic chili sauce. Mix well and pour over the meatballs.
cook in a 350 oven for another 20-30 minutes and YUM!
What I love about this is it tastes even better on reheats (so be sure to make a large batch) and because you've discarded the grease--it's all saucy.DS-19 and DD-17 have loved this dish since they were little.:woohoo:

This sounds like a great marinade for my George Foreman grill. I'm always looking for simple marinades that use dressings. :thumbsup2 And it's great I can make some extra sauce to serve with it.

This sounds really good. I'm going to have to give it a try. I'm always looking for quick easy dinner ideas.
