Quick GCV questions...

I had a chance to look at the model villas of the VGC near the DL hotel Monday. Amazing. I'm also a BWV owner as well but the 1 bedroom is much nicer. Larger kitchen with Island, very large dining table to seat 6, bigger living room, the pull out xtra bed (for MIL) and two bathrooms, all in a 1 bedroom.

The DVC CM seemed to say that all DVC units at VGC have a park view, either of the pier area or Grizzley Mountain. I seem to think there was a 3 bedroom that faced the pool. Anyone know where the 50 DVC units are going to be located? I had heard they were 3rd floor and above, but thats about it.

My understanding is that they will be pool view or park view (possible standard too if they are on 2nd floor-hadn't heard they would be restricted to 3rd floor and above, that would be great). If you are looking at an aerial view, I believe the Villas are the left side of the T (not sure if they are part of the base of the T too. The right side of the T which have DCA PP Park View and paking lot view are to be cash rooms.

The higher floor pool views (floors 4 and 5) might give you a view of the Disneyland Fireworks with just minor blockage from the GC hotel rooms across the pool. If so these views could be as popular as the DCA park views.

Thanks again everybody...
We just returned home with our add-on paper work (5 contracts worth) in hand.
We are figuring four nights in a 1br every year, or four nights in a GV every couple of years. I'm starting to think a few more VGC points are in order, but my wife is about at her limit with 14 contracts, four home resorts, and 1300 points... and we don't even have kids!

Good point about the GVs possibly being available due to high points. It's the new booking system that may make it extremely difficult.. We shall see.
