Quick funny story...

Last night...my DH (who is a highschool teacher) and I helped to chaperone the prom.

Favorite quote from the prom lastnight....We were sitting outside the bathroom..two girls come out...

Girl #1...that's what the Cinderella did to her hair.
Girl #2...no...the birds did her hair....
#1...no...the birds made her dress.
#2...no...the mice made her dress....the birds did her hair....


I thought it was so funny listening to these two...the disagreement continued as they walked down the hall and out of hearing range.

Cute story! I teach in a high school, and I also am in the middle of raising 2 highschoolers. HS kids are great. Pop culture references abound.

My DH and I chaperoned a prom last night too.

I didn't hear anything that funny though. I was too traumatized by the way the kids dance these days. All I can say is OMG!!!!

I seriously thought about splashing some ice cold water on some of them.
