quick facebook question

How can I set my account so that it does'nt show up on other people's page that I'm online? There are a few that I'd like to avoid chatting with! TIA!

You can click on the chat box on the bottom right and choose "Go Offline" However if you doo this, you won't be able to chat with anyone at all. You will become invisible. But, as soon as you start chatting with someone else on your list that you DO want to chat with, you will once again become visible to everyone.

In the lower r hand corner click on the list to bring it up- then hit options- then hit "offline" and you will be "invisible" to folks!
