The units here are nice and big and its got a great location!

that would be a good deal especially when they show this same resort on extra vacations for 500$ - 1000$ approximately even though that is "over doing it"

it is just across the street from Vistana

we stayed there last February

they were listed Gold Crown when we booked it, but by the time we got there a month later it had been 'downgraded" to a Resort of International Distinction" ( due in part to something going on between Sunterra and RCI )

we did not use the amenities but they did have a pool on site

definately would be worth 211$ for the week

The Lake Buena Vista area, like a mile or so to DTD. Vistana, Bryan's Spanish Cove, Embassy, a few others..........all in this area. Oh, yea, the Caribe Royale, ...........CP and CPGV are not too far......I believe they are a mile from Vistana.

It is a great area. We loved it and are staying in this area again this year.

Definitely, we are putting off a trip because of the gas costs and two friends are also cancelling for now. Skyauction may be full of bargains soon.

Yea, I guess you could be right. I just can't imagine canceling a trip that you have worked so hard to plan (this would be my case ).

For instance, two years ago I started planning our next trip which will happen this Nov/Dec. I had budgeted $325 for gas according to this website that I use to gage these sort of things..........http://www.fuelcostcalculator.com/

Today, I put in the info and it gave me a cost of $399. Now, considering I'm paying almost $2000 for my family to buy AP's, I'm not canceling my trip over $74, even $150.............compared to airline tickets, I'm still saving a bundle for 5 people.

It seems skyauction has been having a lot of the last minute deals lately and not so many RSG type auctions. I wonder if that is why?

I think for our trip next year, I may book a backup plan, but try to wait to get one of the last minute auctions. Although in June, I am not sure it will work so well??
