Quick Disney Fix while in Orlando, outside of the park?

Where would you go for a Disney fix outside the park? For our next trip to Orlando we will be staying at Universal for a few nights and won't be going to WDW. But we'd love to have lunch or dinner somewhere to get a little Disney in! My 60 day ADR window opens soon, and I'm open to suggestions!

How about The Boat House in Disney Springs?

Disney Springs is definitely a good option. Boathouse and Wine Bar George are my two favorites there. Or maybe somewhere on the monorail loop and you could explore the resorts a bit? Steakhouse 71 does lunch and dinner. Citrico's at Grand Floridian is a nice dinner option if open to doing a signature dining experience. Not sure if there are kids in your party but for adults a "crawl" of all the lounges could be fun. Or maybe lunch or dinner at Sanaa or dinner at Jiko? I feel like Animal Kingdom Lodge is uniquely Disney and there's a lot to explore around the resort with the displays in the lobby, the wood carvers, the shop, the animals on the savanna etc.

I would make a reservation at a MK resort ('Ohana, Whispering Canyon, or plus it with Citricos or Cali Grill), then ride the boats and monorail around the area. Or even consider going to the Fort and going to Hoop Dee Doo Review.

These are great ideas. I have never done Hoop Dee Doo but just this week a podcaster mentioned it as really fun. I've also never taken the skyliner! So that's a great idea too. And I do love the boats.

Skyliner to DHS, boat to Epcot, Skyliner back to origin.

Sure! You could park at DS, bus to BC, Skyliner to DHS, boat back to BC (or any resort in the EP area). If you can get a reservation, Topolino's breakfast and dinner are both amazing, so you could get off the Skyliner there for your meal.
