Hi everyone! We just came home and I thought I'd write up a quick dining report. Sorry no pics for the report - I have 3 boys (ages 6, 4, and a 3 month old) so most of the time I was too busy taking care of them instead of taking photos of the food. The restaurants are rated based on food, character interaction, and service........

Garden Grill (dinner): Food was great! Character interaction was okay. When I tried to get the chipmunks to do funny things like calling them squirrels and by the wrong name, they seemed to not be in the mood to play. I was a little disappointed in that! However, our waitress was wonderful!

Hollywood and Vine (dinner): Food was excellent - probably the best we had all week. The service was fine - nothing memorable.

Crystal Palace (lunch): Food was great, service was okay, and character interaction was just okay as well.

Hurricane Hannah's (Beach Club) for dinner: Food was great especially for quick service. Wished there were more options. Beach club is in some SERIOUS need of quick service food! This is one of the reasons why we had so many QS credits left over!

Cape May Cafe (Breakfast): Food was average, service was not very good. The character interaction was great and most characters came around 2-3 times.

Yachtsman Steakhouse: Food was not as good as I expected. Maybe we're just spoiled - we have a Morton's, RuthChris, and a Capital Grille all in our area. The best thing on the plate were the mashed potatoes! The dessert was horrible:sad2: The service was extremely slow and not very good for an upscale restaurant.

1900 Park Fare (dinner). Character interaction was fabulous! The prince spent ALOT of time with my boys asking them what was their favorite rides, etc. He even came back later in the evening to talk with them. The stepmother was hilarious and so were the stepsisters - especially Anastasia! She was screaming - DRIZELLA all throughout the dinner! Cinderella, however, was NOT very good! All she did was come over and said "hi", tried to sign their books (we already had her signature) and then took one picture and left never to be seen at our table again! The food here was HORRIBLE! Most of it was inedible and my 6 year old refused to eat any of the buffet food. We would not go back for dinner. I'd rather stand in line at the MK to see the stepsisters/mom instead of having to eat that food again!

O'Hana (breakfast): Food was GREAT!!!!! Character interaction was GREAT!! We would definitely return next time!!

Beaches and Cream (dinner): Food was just okay. The No Way Jose was not as good as I expected either. This place should definitely be considered quick service and not a table service. The only reason we would return would be if we were staying at the Beach Club again and we missed our dining reservations somewhere else!

Food Court at the Carribbean Beach (Breakfast): Since we had a rental car and there was no quick service food choices at the Beach Club for breakfast, we decided to head over to the CBR. We stayed here last year, and my boys LOVED the breakfast choices there. We were not disappointed! The food was so good - we should have done that all week long for breakfast!

O'Hana (dinner): Food was fabulous! We even had a table that overlooked the castle. Our service was also FABULOUS - the best server all week. This is a most do for our next trip.

France (qs for lunch): We got a quick sandwich and dessert on our last day. It was great and a good way to use a quick service credit!

Here are some of the snacks that we ate:

Lots of popcorn!!!popcorn::
Mickey Bars:love:
Itsakadoozle :yay:
Starring Rolls Butterfinger Cupcake
Frozen Cokes :)

Just a side note - you CANNOT use your snack credits at the Disney store at the airport. Several cast members told us that we could so we didn't have time on our last day to run down to the Beach Club's store to use them up. We decided to use them at the airport - well I was not a happy person when I found out I couldn't use them!!! I felt like we waisted a lot of money by not using them up before we left. So learn from my mistake and go to the gift shop before you leave the Disney property!!

If you have any questions, let me know!!! :thumbsup2

Would you believe that I have never had Disney popcorn? popcorn::

I haven't eaten at many of the buffets. Which was your favorite?

Completely agree with you on the food at 1900 PF...we wasted over $100 eating there and we all left hungry!

Our favorite buffet would have to be Hollywood and Vine dinner. For some reason, both times we've eaten there it has been really good. My oldest son is a picky eater and he eats there with no problem.

The O'hana breakfast was really nice. We had a 10:30 adr and I think it was perfect because we were able to sleep in and drive over there then eat a big breakfast and head to MK. The food was really good and the character interaction was great - as good as can be when they don't talk:rotfl: We would DEFINITELY be back to this restaurant for both breakfast and dinner.

When we had brunch, we would skip lunch and eat snacks. It worked out great and saved us from sitting down and eating so we rode more rides. I think we may do that a lot more next time. It just works good for our family.
