I don't want to waste time at the hotel dealing with breakfast in the mornings. I want to head to the parks and grab something quick and easy.
Does each theme park have a place like this to get something to eat early in the morning?
If so, do you know the name of the place and which park?

THANKS!!!

Last xmas week I had a great quick CS breakfast at MK and AK. both were after emh mornings at around 9:30am. MK it was at Cosmic Ray's-egg platter with biscuit, bacon, potatoes, fresh made and hot and good(they also had pancakes or waffles). In AK-Pizzafari, I had same type of breakfast platter, but they also had egg sandwich and breakfast pizza(both looked good also).
Epcot- Electric Umbrella has breakfast meal, but I ate there quite a while ago and can't remember what I had-I might try Sunshine Season in the land next trip. DHS-had an ok meal at ABC Commissary in the past(egg platter and can't remember what else) but I had a horrible lunch there last year so I'm leary about doing this again.

For something lighter, Bakery on Main street has good choices.

Anything open at 8:00am or 8:30am when the parks open with EMH? My kids will be starving by 9:30. Maybe we will just have to do room service at the resort.

What if you have something in your room? My niece needs to eat the minute her eyes open so we keep cereal and milk in our room for her. That holds her over until our breakfast ADR

That's what we will be doing for my mom, who is the same way!

On previous trips we bought fresh fruit or cereal & milk from the CS restaurant at the hotel and kept it in our room for snacks or early breakfasts before heading to the parks. Not a full breakfast, but a little early AM snack to hold us over until we got through the first park-opening rush.

Then there's always the bakery on Main Street in the MK...DD9 got a huge cinamon roll last year right after the rope drop:

MMMM... that looks fabulous!
Ok so what about Epcot and AK? Do they have a bakery like that?

Just to clarify..the cs breakfasts I commented upon were open at park opening. I chose to eat after emh to tour the rides before the crowds hit. that's the way I optimize the morning touring.

Try Starring Rolls Bakery in DHS. They have really good bakery items. They also serve nice sandwiches at lunch but they close fairly early. Epcot I 've heard that the only CS breakfast available year round is at Sunshine Seasons. MK would be the Main Street Bakery. AK use to have breakfast pastries available at the Kusafari bakery at Tusker House. I don't know if they still do that since they moved the Character breakfast to Tusker House. Some people who go at peak times have found a number of CS options for Breakfast in the parks but for much of the year most of them do not serve breakfast. And depending on which hotel you are staying at you may be able to pick up something quick from a food court or gift shop.

I hate wasting precious park time on breakfast as well! I will bring some bananas, apples, and cereal/ granola bars to eat on the bus or in the car on the way. The hotel Ill be staying att inc a continental breakfast as well, but Im not expecting anything more than coffee, juice, milk, donuts or muffins, and a bagel if we're lucky! All of those things can be eaten on the way, and this is often what I eat in the morn anyway. I always end up stopping for a snack if not lunch before noon anyway:goodvibes everyone has their own way that they are happy and comfortable, thats just what works for me & mine:goodvibes

I don't want to waste time either. I didn't even think of eating on the way to the parks. But where do I get the fruit and stuff from?

Where are you staying? If you are on property they have stuff available at the food courts. If staying off property you can pick stuff up at a grocery store if you have transportation. If you are on property & have a car you can go to a grocery store off property to pick up a few things.

MK and DHS both have bakery type places when you walk in the park. DHS has the Starring Rolls Cafe (or something to that effect) that has cinnamon rolls and stuff like that. MK has a bakery on Main Street that sells many baked goods.

We always choose to get up about 30 min earlier so we can eat breakfast at the food court of our resort. I normally will have a bagel, DH to be will have a platter or sandwhich so it wont take long. Id rather have some time to wake up with my coffee and a bite to eat and then hit the bus ready to go!! So if park opens at 9 Ill get up at 7 be out the door by 7:30 be eatting breakfast by 7:45 and on a bus by 8:20.. Makes for a more relazing vacation, to me vacation is eating out and eatting things I normally wont allow myself at home but in WDW I walk many miles a day so it cool! Besides soon to be hubby needs some coffee time in the morn or he turns into GRUMPY! LOL!

Thank you for posting these. I didn't realize they served breakfast items.

Another option if you're staying onsite without a car and don't want to pay the higher resort prices, is to have a grocery service deliver to the resort at the start of your trip. We plan on doing that this year (gardengrocer.com or wegoshop.com). We'll get a box of cereal, a few 1/2 gallons of milk, a case or two of bottled water, Diet Mt. Dew (no Pepsi products to be found at Disney) and "adult beverages". When it's just DD and I, I'll pay the resort prices. But with my parents joining us this year, one "round" of coctails at the pool bar will run me $35-$45, and for that I can buy a whole lotta groceries! :thumbsup2

It will also save us time by eating in the morning in the room while we all take turns getting ready in the bathroom. If I wait till my mom's ready and then have to eat in the restaurant, we'll surely miss park opening every day! :lmao:

I just checked out Disney's website and it does not list that Cosmic Ray's serves breakfast. I wonder if they just did it when you were there because it was Christmas week. :confused3

We will be going to MK during early EMH and was hoping we could grab something to eat there. My DH isn't a pastry type person so the bakery really won't work for him. We have two teens and it's going to be hard enough to get them up and out in time without having to have them eat first too. :sad2: :lmao:
