I am on the website for connections and they state that the Quick & Casual vouchers are good for 1 entree, 1 side (if not included with an entree), 1 dessert, and 1 non- alcoholic beverage.

I was under the impression that you also could get an appitizer as well- am I incorrect on this? Thanks

Hi there!

You get an appetizer with the Vacation Kingdom Vouchers (which are either $27.50 or $29.50 - I'm not sure right this second), not the Quick and Casual vouchers!

Great question!!

Just bought some on Monday, they are $29.50.

Thanks for the clairification. Do you think that my DD-10 and I could share the vouchers and be ok? If so, any suggestions other than B & C where we can get the most food?

I've read that people shared vouchers with no problem which is what we plan to do at B&C. You might want to check menus to make sure you're getting your money's worth and to see where the good values are.( www.wdwig.com ) Even with my dh and I splitting the $29.50 vouchers don't make sense. For instance, at Sci-Fi the voucher would cost us a minimum of $1.50 MORE than we'd normally spend including a 20% tip (ordering appetizer, entree, dessert and drink, but we probably wouldn't order the appetizer without a voucher). However, the breakfast vouchers are a good deal for adults (not kids) at character breakfasts. We plan to pay for the kids and their tip but use vouchers for the adults. We find portions at full service restaurants to be ample to the point that we share an entree, and if we're feeling really ravenous, maybe a dessert. Two of us couldn't get through an appetizer, entree w/side, and dessert without being uncomfortably full.

Someone posted on another thread that Rainforest Cafe at AK can be a very good value.

Hi there!!

I am writing this from WDW--DisneyQuest, to be exact!! We have been using the Q&C and KL vouchers, and have gotten some great values......however, not as great as we'd hoped, as B&C has changed their policy slightly. They will no longer allow you to add an extra side to the entree, the fries that come with your meal are considered your 'side dish' now. Both waitresses we had told us this was the new policy, started last week, because they had too many people abusing the vouchers. (one waitress said they had 17 people come in one time, and use 3 vouchers between them.) However, you can still get a good value using the vouchers. We used 2 for the 3 of us, split the double cheeseburger meal and a hot dog meal, got 2 milkshakes and a glass of water, and the kitchen sink for dessert (didn't use the 2nd dessert, knew we wouldn't eat it) and saved over $25. Ate there again today, each had a burger, shake, and 2 scoop dish of ice cream, and saved $18. I would say that if you plan to have a meal and milkshake, the vouchers are worthwhile. With a dessert thrown in, 1 voucher will be enough food for 2 people.

We also used the q&c at the pepper market and saved $30 on a meal for the 3 of us. A huge meal, which was great--we'd skipped lunch and were really hungry.

the kingdom lunch vouchers were good for us too, but probably only because of our circumstances--2 kids and 1 adult. At sci-fi, we ordered 2 kids meals, chili and onion rings off the appetizer menu (mom's meal) 2 milkshakes, and 2 desserts. Check came to $44, and the vouchers ($25) covered the meal for us. Even if I had pulled my 'mean old mom' routine and disallowed the milkshakes and desserts, the total with my entree would've put us over $25, so for us this was a definite value.

Used the vouchers again in italy, this time the kids had smoothies, kid's meals, and mom had pizza off the appetizer menu, also shared an order of calamari. \kids had mousse for dessert. not sure of the total, the waitress took our vouchers and that was that, but the kids meals were $7 each and the pizza $10, so basically the smoothies and dessert were 'free'.

Anyway, ytyping on a disneyquest computer stinks. LOL I'm going to get back to my book and relax while the kids play! \just wanted to share the experience at b&c so others would know to plan for it.

just wanted to clarify, in regards to the sci-fi and italy meals, we used 2 of the children's kingdom lunch vouchers, which are $12.50 each, thus $25 total for our meals. :)

On the q&c vouchers, can your drink be one of the souveneir soda cups in the parks?

For example, at Pizza Planet in the Studios, you can get a small for 1.99, large for 2.29 or a Toy Story souveneir cup for 3.79.

Can I use a q&c for the Toy Story?

Thanks!

The beverage at the parks is a medium soda, or refill for a souvenir cup. You can't use it to purchase the cup.
