IF you go to the Budget Board, (af ew more on the pull down menu) there are some very detailed explanations of the Q & C.
I love the Q & C. We took 40 of them on our trip, and came home with 11 of them. They were convienent, pre paid, and in all instances we saved mony than buying all those items outright.
I bought mine in July and they were $11.25. Each voucher includes a beverage, side item, entree, dessert, tax and tip.
Some counters, (in fact almost all) don't have tip, but Beaches & Cream and Pepper Market does.
We used our vouchers for these restaurants:
Tangieriene (wonderful meal, gave us a lot of food for four people and only used two vouchers)
Beaches & Cream, Pepper Market... both great food, and wonderful service...
Electric Umbrella (good food)
ABC commisary, (this is the only place where we only saved tax.. and that was it)
Great food place at MK near or in Tomorrowland... it was wonderful, great food, and saved a lot as well.
Roaring Forks at WL (saved good amount of money there as well)
Mara (AKL) again great food, and wonderful service...
According to the counter person you may either get a "literal" or "loose" interpretation of the voucher. Some people really wnat you to get exactly what is offered, and some tell you "hey, you can get something else"... (that happened at Roaring Forks, Mara, Electric Umbrella, and Tangierene)
Other places, they were very literal. If you research menus ahead of time, you shouldn't have a problem.
For example at Tangierene we used two vouchers for four people (2 adults, 2 kids)
WE ordered the beef and lamp sharma platter and it came with two sides.. the counter person said it comes with another side, so then we got a large plate of rice pilaf.
We ordered the meatball platter for the kids and they picked their sides, and got an additonal side of hummus.
We got two frozen drinks (one of each flavor), and then two deserts... plus tax was included.
I remember the total would have been about $45.. we spent two vouchers so $22 and some change.
