Quick Bed Bath & Beyond coupon question

I'm headed out to BB&B in a few minutes....I have two of the $5 off a $15 purchase. Is this $5 off one item of $15 or more, or can you combine items to get to $15?

depends on the coupon, I have seen both ways, it should say.


1) $5 off a single item $15 or higher

2) $5 off total purchase over $15

They have even put the coupon through when my total was under $15. But this was before they added candy and food to their stock. Now, it's easier to make up the missing amount.

Their coupons never expire, even when there is an expiration date. They will honor their coupons!

DH works for BB&B in Customer Service Mgmt- here is his answer:

You can use the coupon for EITHER 1 item costing at least $15, OR several items totaling at least $15.

If you have several items in your purchase and ONE of the items is over $15, and the other items TOTAL more than $15, you can use BOTH coupons in the same transaction. For example:

You have 4 items in your cart. Item 1 is $30. Item 2 is $5. Item 3 is $5. Item 4 is $10. You can use both "$5 off " coupons, one for the $30 item, and the other for the 3 items totaling $20.

A note about expired coupons- technically, the store asks that you use them by the expiration date, but they will make the accomodation for you.

BB&B coupons sent to your e-mail address do expire. They are the only ones that do. Trust me on this. I am BB&B coupon queen, I own the tiara!!

Since the coupon is $5 off $15. You'd only be able to use one coupon for the item. You can use a 20% coupon instead, if that amount comes out higher for the whole purchase.

Another time I went shopping with DSis & Mom. I gave them each a coupon & we all saved $45 total!

I bought my portable air conditioner and used a 20% coupon on the $399 purchase!

Yes, email coupons DO expire- you are right (I didn't know about them, DH did!). To get these, sign up at any store or online to be on the mailing list.

Thanks everyone....I had to leave before I read all of your answers. I had no problems using my two $5 off coupons and 1 20% off coupon on my Keurig k-cups. I bought five boxes...
