This is my very first dining review although my family and I have been to Disney World or Disneyland every year since 2009. I have found the reviews I have read on the Disboards to be so helpful when planning my trips that I really wanted to write a review this time. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics to show you but a quick review of each experience may still be helpful for some.

My family includes my DH (44), myself (43), DD (13) and DD (9). We all love Disney and cannot dream of going anywhere else for a vacation. This year, we found the food to be better than last year and we were able to try some new table service restaurants which is always fun.

The locations I will be reviewing include:

Day 1: Planet Hollywood (dinner)
Day 2: Boulangerie Patisserie Les Halles, Yorkshire County Fish Shop (lunch)/ Tutto Italia (dinner)
Day 3: Pepper Market (lunch)/Kona (dinner)
Day 4: Pecos Bill (lunch)/Skipper's Canteen (dinner)
Day 5: Leaning Palms (lunch)/TREX (dinner)
Day 6: Backlot Express (lunch)/Minnie's Holiday Dine at Hollywood and Vine (dinner)
Day7: Be our Guest (lunch)/Cinderella's Royal Table (dinner)
Day 8: O'hana (dinner)
Day 9: Pizzafari (lunch)/Yak and Yeti (dinner)
Day 10: Pepper Market/Siesta's Cantina (lunch)/50s Prime Time Cafe (dinner)
Day11: Pepper Market/Siesta's Cantina (lunch)/Les Chefs de France (dinner)
Day 12: Garden Grill (brunch)/eating around the World (dinner) with stops in UK, France, Japan, Germany, and USA
Day 13: Casey's Corner, Tortuga Tavern (lunch)/Tomorrowland Terrace (dinner)
Day 14: Wolfgang Puck Express (lunch)/Chef Mickey's (dinner)

Looks like you guys hit up some great places and some of my favorites :)

Before getting started, I forgot to mention that we were on the dining plan (1 counter service meal, 1 table service meal, and 1 snack per person per day)

Planet Hollywood: We really enjoyed the atmosphere here and my older daughter loves the Hunger Games artifacts. We all enjoyed our meals here as well. My husband had the ribs. My older daughter and I had the chicken fajitas and my younger daughter had the children's spaghetti. My older daughter found the fajitas to be too spicy for her so they made her a fresh plate with chicken that wasn't seasoned and she really enjoyed it. The service here was very good and they took of replacing her meal very efficiently. For dessert, my younger daughter and I shared the cookie sandwiches and my older daughter and husband shared a large ice cream sundae. Everyone enjoyed their desserts and we were off to a great start.

Boulangerie in Epcot's France pavilion: My daughters and I went to Boulangerie Patisserie as we have enjoyed their meals especially dessert in the past. We shared 2 sandwiches between the two of us (poulet au pistou). This was a chicken sandwich with pesto sauce, cheese and onions. We asked to have it warmed up. My younger daughter did not care for the sandwich however my older daughter and I really enjoyed it. For dessert, we ordered a vanilla eclair, the french special for Christmas time Buche Noel I believe it was called, and another chocolate mousse with some kind of chocolate cake base. I don't know what it was called and I had never seen it before there. We all enjoyed the desserts. I ordered a cappuccino as well.

Yorkshire County Fish Shop: My husband absolutely loves the fish and chips in the UK pavilion. They gave him 3 pieces of fish for some reason even though he didn't ask for it. Let me say that this was one of the best meals we ate at Disney World. He shared a little with us especially my younger daughter since she really hadn't eaten at this point. The fish and chips are outstanding. We went back later in the trip for more because it is so good. For dessert, he ordered a sponge cake with a little cream and jam in the middle. He also enjoyed this.

Tutto Italia: We have never eaten at this restaurant before as we always went to Via Napoli as the menu seemed more appealing. I noticed they have lasagna on the menu and my younger daughter loves lasagna. Instead of our old faithful which is Teppan Edo, we tried it and this is a new family favourite. My husband, and two daughters ordered the lasagna and said it was the best they ever had. (My younger daughter used my meal to order the lasagna as they do not have a child's portion of the dish). I ate her spaghetti and meatballs and I also really enjoyed the meal. The sauce was delicious. The bread served here was also good and the minestrone soup that was part of the child's meal was excellent. I would order it in the future as an appetizer. For dessert, my husband was so full he ordered the sorbet. It was excellent. My daughter and I ordered the chocolate cake with ice cream and it was also good. I was a little disappointed that they removed the dessert with Nutella as I love Nutella however this was really delicious. My younger daughter who ate the entire piece of lasagna that my husband was stuffed on (she is pretty small so it is quite amazing she pulled this off), ordered ice cream for dessert. We loved this meal and we didn't stop talking about it during the vacation.a

Great start to your reviews... thanks for sharing! :)

Great start to the trip! We were there from 12/20-12/30, ending outpr trip with Tutto Italia. We also really enjoyed it as first time visitors. The service there was so attentive. I just started a dining review, too, also my first! I look forward to reading more of yours!

Thank you for sharing this with me. It is so fun to discuss Disney World experiences with people who enjoy Disney World as much as I do.

This is one of our favorite places at Disney. The fish and chips are great. It is on our list to do at least once, if not both days we are at EPCOT.

Pepper Market: For lunch, my daughter and I went to the Pepper Market while my younger daughter and husband stayed by the pool. There is quick service by the pool but it doesn't have many options and it is always busy. My husband had the Texas burger with fries. I ordered the chicken tacos with rice. My older daughter ordered the customized salad with chicken and my younger daughter ordered a macaroni and cheese. For dessert, we ordered 2 brownies, churros and a red cake. The desserts went back to the room and all but the churros remained there until the end of our vacation. Overall the food was ok but nothing to rave about. The macaroni and cheese was very bland. It was ok for my daughter but it was a very watered down sauce poured over large noodles. My daughter liked her salad and my husband liked the burger. I thought the tacos were only ok.

Kona Café: We have been to Kona in the past and loved it so we were really looking forward to it. As soon as you are seated, they serve a delicious bread with macadamian nut butter. My husband ordered the steak. This changed since the last time we were there 2 years ago. He preferred the one 2 years earlier that had a teriyaki sauce with pineapples. This time it came with roasted potatoes. It was ok. I ordered the salmon which was a special and I really enjoyed it. My older daughter ordered the noodles with chicken in a ginger sauce. This was too spicy for her. My younger daughter ordered the tortellini which was a tri colour noodle with a pasta sauce. Neither of our daughters were happy with their meals. The manager came over and said he would have the meal remade with a teriyaki sauce. This time it was absolutely delicious and she loved it. We told him our daughter also wasn't happy and after running out of options, we asked if we could get her a sushi roll. We expected to pay for this but when the bill came, there was no extra charge. My daughter was thrilled with her meal. For dessert we ordered 2 Kona cones which is ice cream in a waffle bowl with m & m s and cotton candy. My younger daughter had the kid's sundae and I ordered the fondue. Delicious. We were all happy with the meal and we would return.

I seriously love those fish and chips from UK, YUM!!

Dinner at Kona sounds wonderful. We have only done breakfast there. We usually eat at Ohana but we may need to try Kona sometime.

Pecos Bill: We ate here for lunch with our friends. We ordered the chicken fajitas, steak fajitas, the hamburger-yes it is back, and a kids mac and cheese. Our friends also ordered the fajitas. I am not sure what else they ate. For dessert, we had the churros with chocolate sauce. The food here was good. I really enjoyed the change to Mexican food. Everyone seemed pretty happy and it was very filling.

Skipper's Canteen: You cannot make a reservation for this restaurant however they said the wait was only 30 minutes. For a table of 7 during Christmas week, that is not bad. When they took us to our table, they made some corny jokes like on the ride (Jungle Cruise). The waiter was trying really hard to be funny but the jokes really were not good. For dinner, we all ordered steak or steak salad. The steak came with a chimichurri sauce and yuca planks and avocado. I liked it but no else was that pleased. Maybe it was because my husband had steak the day before and he wasn't really in the mood. I think the sauce was too spicy for my daughter. My younger daughter also ordered the steak and liked it somewhat. Our friends ordered the steak salad but said it was too spicy. For dessert, I had that konglakoosh. It was chocolate cake with some crunchy topping. It was very small. My 2 daughters and husband ordered the kids dessert which was a chocolate volcano. Very, very small. Since we were eating so much dessert being on the dining plan, this wasn't a problem. But for people paying out of pocket, I am not so sure how happy they will be with this. The service was good and the waiter showed me the other rooms that were better decorated than the main hall. I think we will skip this restaurant next time.

thanks so much for your great reviews...we love Tutto italia ..but we had steak when my hubby and I went..could of cut it with a fork...thanks again for these reviews.

I enjoyed reading your reviews and plan on going to some of the same places.

I am doing all the planning for my trip with my sister and her 9 yr granddaughter, their first Disney trip. I was thinking either Teppan Edo or Tutto Italia.
