Queue Lines for Characters

I've just seen on the InsideDLP page on Facebook that they're currently trialing having organised queue lines for all meet and greets in the parks!

I really hope the trials go well and that this is a permanant change -- scrums for characters is one of the things I dislike most at DLP.

Looks great doesn't it - at last they have decided it's worth a trial. Lets hope the Europeans "get it"!

I saw this too - such a simple idea but hopefully it will make the character meets a much nicer experience.

Now if they would just make the whole park non-smoking...

I also hope that there are the variety of characters out when we go! We are never lucky enough to meet that many!

When we met characters in the studios park last week one of the cast members had got everyone to form a queue - unsurprisingly he was British! It worked much better though

Correct. In the past it was very, very rare that you saw a queue unless we're talking Princess Pavillion or one of the other set up meets. For other random appearing character it was just one big scrum and often enough the pushiest one got through.

Oh that would be so great. I always complain about this in survey they sent you or write it down at the hotel. It is one of the main lows in DLP. I just love those organized meet'n'greets. On the other hand - people just need to be polite and no so rude. And that's more difficult than just do an organized meet'n'greet. I hope it works and stays permanent thing.

I saw this on FB too, and we were all so excited over something so small...lol...I really hope it sticks!

And then just address the smoking and we're good to go.

I saw this too and was talking to DH about it last night - we noticed though that although when we were just before Xmas that the random character meet and greets in the main park were a bit unorganised, the ones in Studios all had queues!! (Not the photo opportunity ones - all those had queues...)

Very glad to see it happening though!

That's great news. Let's hope it becomes permanent with more character appearances! It would make such a difference to the whole experience.
