This is kind of a weird question, but does anyone know of a site that has pictures or blueprints of the queues of all the attractions at Disneyland/DCA? I have an issue with certain types of switchback queues, and I'd like to be prepared for any in California. Thanks! :)

I'm not aware of any site that has a collection of such pictures, but if you can give us some more info on what you'd like to avoid we can give you some more information.

I can't go through crowded switchbacks. In WDW the worst ones were Toy Story and Big Thunder, but I have a problem with some of the smaller switchback queues like in WDW Fantasyland as well. If the queue is more spread out, I'm fine (like WDW's Pirates).

FWIW, many of the switchbacks at DLR are outside unlike WDW which has so many inside (because of weather I would guess). If it is outside does that change things?

The first one that comes to mind for me is Peter Pan. I hate how you are so close to everybody and the line does go back and forth.

No, being inside or outside doesn't change anything.

Thanks! Do most Fantasyland attractions at DL have queues like Peter Pan? I know the ones in Florida are usually very hard for me to go through.

Peter Pan is very tight. Indiana Jones is also very tight and crowded once you get inside close to and on the stairs.

In addition, not a queue, but you will probably not want to venture inside the caves on Pirate island....very dark, can be crowded and extremely tight -- like having to turn side ways and crouch down to fit thru certain areas (shudder). no fun with 10 people on your heals and 10 people in front of you too.

I was going to say Peter Pan is number one on my list of 'icky switchback'. It's tight for sure.

It's been a while but I think the other Fantasylands aren't quite so switchbackesque. The turns aren't tight and there is more room.

Roger Rabbit is coming to mind for some reason..I think I remember the queue being pretty tight too

I thought storybookland canal boats were pretty tight, and twisty, but I could be wrong.

Honestly all of them switchback.

Roger Rabbit is tight but there are no switchbacks.

All of the FL rides except Matterhorn, Casey Jr., and It's a Small World have very narrow queues.

In general, though, all of DLR's lines are skinny to save space. Everything at DLR is a lot more compact than at WDW. Now that I think about it, a lot of WDW ride lines don't have switchbacks. It's pretty much the opposite at DLR. I can only think of a handful of rides at DLR that DON'T have switchbacks:
-Splash
-Casey Jr.
-Roger Rabbit
-Gadget's Go Coaster
-Rivers of America boat rides
-Monorail

It's a Small World and Pooh don't use switchbacks unless they're using overflow queues. Big Thunder and Buzz are like one giant switchback. Other than that, I'm pretty sure all other rides use switchbacks at DL. And at DCA I can only think of Monsters as not using switchbacks (unless it's SUPER crowded).

I also can't think of any lines that are as wide as Pirates at MK. :confused3

Hmmm... interesting question.

So, trying to understand what you want to avoid...

How does something like this stand with you?

This is the queue for Jungle Cruise. (It also goes upstairs at some point IF the line wait gets long.)
