Quests at WDW--for now there is no adventurland quest

Just a quick heads up. Due to the refurbishment of the Pirates attraction, there is no adventurland quest.

I was there on Saturday and they didn't have them out. So we asked. They said that since some of the questions related to the pirate ride, the quest was stopped for now.

When do they expect the POC to be completed?

I heard two possibilities. There may be a brief reopening for Easter. Otherwise, by July for sure with the opening of the Pirates movie. Get different answers depending which cm I asked. Most of course, said they don't know for sure.

I just checked the calendar on disneyworld.com and it has POTC undergoing refurbishment throug June 30th. When you go to the July calendar, it's no longer listed in the operational updates.

Well it's time for some new quests anyway - for both parks. What, VMK had no idea that pirates would be down MONTHS ahead of time?

I sure hope they come up with new something soon.

So did you get a "prize pack" of cards for doing the Frontierland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland quests? (without the adventureland?)

I hope they finish the refurbishment by the end of June and have a soft opening. A girl can only hope.

When DH went there was no Adventureland stuff included in his "prize pack" at all- but he did do all the other quests- but just didn't get anything from AL except the tent room which he had a pdf for

Was exactly the same for us on Saturday.

Even when it comes back I do not think the Quest will be the same nor will the prizes be the same.....just my OP.
