hey im going to disney in april and we are staying at the boardwalk villas. we usually stay at either the grand floridian or the yacht club concierge level. i was just wondering what yall like about the boardwalk villas so maybe i could get a little more excited about it lol

Beats me. I've never stayed there. Most high up thing I've stayed at is Carribean Beach.

Erm, yeah, it's great and all. The swimming pool is awesome, the theming is great...but honestly I spend more time at the actual parks then at the hotels...(not counting sleep)

Boardwalk Bakery! Yumm!! haha!

You can walk to Epcot & MGM, which is freakin' awesome IMO.

Once the parks close for the night, you can just go out onto the Boardwalk and it feels like the night isn't over yet. There are a lot of funny performers there too.

ESPN Club is amazing!! If you're into sports. The food is yummy too.

At night, tradition boardwalk games open up, like toss the frog into the moving bucket type things.

The pool is cool too. The surrey bikes are awesome too. There are two big hills, which make the whole ride a lot more interesting!

The Boardwalk is my fav resort. So I could rant and rave about it all day. Have fun! It's a great resort.

The boardwalk so totally rocks! I've stayed there the majority of my trips and we LOVE it there. There are so many things to do there!


Walking or taking the boats to MGM or Epcot is a major plus.

The resteraunts and bakeries on the boardwalk are super! Be sure to get the refillable mug.

There's entertainment on the boardwalk, and there's entertainers too.

Community hall has plenty of games, you can rent Disney movies there, color, or watch movies. They sometimes have contests and arts and crafts. (I won a fishing trip once)

The pool has a fun theme and a fun slide.

The hotel is just beautiful!

You can rent a surry to ride on the boardwalk. ( I did it once, very fun!)

I'm sure there's plenty more, I just can't write them because I have a stupid essay to write!

i loveee walking around the boardwalk at night after the parks close. its so much fun and also i love just sitting by the water lol just looking out at it the shows around there are pretty cool too and theres a lot u can do u can get your hair done you can get ice cream its really cool to go to before heading up to your room Have Fun!

I TOTALLY know what you mean. We have always been spoiled and have stayed at those two hotels. Let me tell you though, I've seen the Boardwalk Villa rooms when my Aunt and Uncle stayed there and they are VERY nice. You'll like them a lot. If you're big into asthetics (how pretty something looks)...the lobby is REALLY nice. Furthermore, being on the Boardwalk at night is a TON of fun, especially for us teens.
