Questions With Logistics

Any time visiting disneyworld before i have always used WDW travel Co. for making plans including air, ground transportation tickets etc. Now that the "hotel" portioin is taken care of with vacation club--What are the best ways to go about the rest of it?? Can anyone reccomend websites--airfare etc.. Do you just buy directly from airline??(sorry-- i have just never had to do it this way) Does disney still help you??

I use travelocity an have it set to e-mail me anytime the airfare from EWR to MCO changes.

There is an option with MS (it is either 1 or 2) and they will still do your air arrangements for you. I have never found they get anything better than I do on my own though.

Yes, MS can do your air and your rental car if you like. They generally get good rates and will use whatever airlines/car company you like.

You can book air and car rental through Member Services. Personally, I usually book online direct with the airline and rental companies. I often check back with car rental sites, since prices can change several times, then if I do see a cheaper rate, I re-book, then cancel the original ressie.

Oh heck, just check www.travelocity.com & www.expedia.com occasionally.... put in your dates & check the fares!! You never know when a good fare will come up... Also, you can always check out the Transportation Board here on Dis, people are always talking about discounts on rental cars & airfares & such.... You'll get used to doing this before you know it!!!

If you know the airline that is closest to you that frequents Orlando you should go to them directly online. Even though Expedia & Travelocity are good they are a few bucks more per ticket than the airlines direct unless you luck out with a special.

And airlines such as Delta let you pick your seats etc.

I have never used a travel agent always doing it this way or on the phone,

We've always made our own arrangements, and have the best luck with airfare thru www.orbitz.com.
