I called the coordinator today and it turns out she is not in the office all week. I thought since I only had a few questions maybe someone else could answer them for me. I was transferred to another coordinator who was almost rude. I felt like she was questioning me why I was calling so soon when our VR is 16 months away. I just had a couple of questions that I hoped to have answered. I ended up just saying that I would email the coordinator, and left it at that. I didn't mean to bother her or anything. I have never had a problem with the coordinator they set me up with. I guess I should have just asked on here, or emailed her and waited for her to get back from vacation, then I would not be so discouraged. My questions are;

- Is there another reception site at the GF besides the Whitehall room, and ball rooms? (I really liked the commanders terrace, but I wasn't sure if we could do something up there, besides the cake cutting for intimate weddings, or if there was some place else)
- Can we have the DP at lower UK with 10-12 people?
- Can we add an extra half an hour onto the DP? and how much will it cost?
- Is there other transportation to the DP that we can use since we will only have 10-12 people? (the 40+ passenger bus seems a little big to me).

That's all! Any help would be greatly appreciated! :worship:

Firstly, that was kind of rude of that coordinator not to give you 5 minutes of their time to help you out. That's just sad.

You can do a reception at the summerhouse not sure about the terrace but you could always ask.

the minimum number of people for UK DP are 20 but I think I read somewhere you can still have like 10 people you just have to pay the difference but just double check.

I remember reading in somebody's TR that they were able to stay an extra 30 minutes because they didn't feel like they were being rushed out of their DP and they didn't get charged but again I have also read that they do charge.

I'm sure there are other transportation options since you are a small group. I think somebody had their party go in taxis but I think you'd need to pay a guide????

Hope that somewhat helps :goodvibes

Usually smaller parties are told they have to use Morocco for dessert parties, but then you hear of one who got to use Upper UK or UK Lochside...

You can extend your dessert party for free, but if you extend the food there will be a per-person charge.

You do not have to use transportation to get into Epcot for the DP - you can meet a guide at the International Gateway and be escorted in. There is no fee for the guide, but there will be viewing fees for any member of your party who doesn't have park admission.

I don't have any other answers that other people haven't already said... I just wanted to say hi to another sailor's girl!! :thumbsup2 pirate:
