Okay so I went to DL in March and will be back in two weeks from Fl.

However, last time there I didnt walk through the castle or ride the train.

Today I saw a DVDthat showed some stuff and wondered if it were still there.

A) Train:Showed an old attraction of dinosaurs in a tunnel. Is that still there? IF not, is the tunnell there and what is in it?

B) Castle? Can you still walk through it?

The dinosaurs are still in one part of the train ride. I like 'em. :) Someone else can tell you where to get on *just* to see them, but I would recommend a round trip tour. :)

The castle "walk-through" (as opposed to just walking through the castle to get into or out of Fantasyland, LOL) was closed for ages, but is going to be re-opening soon. Someone else can tell you when.

I'm like a preview of answers here, ha ha.

If you only want to see the dinosaurs, get on at the Tomorrowland Main Street.

According to Imagineer Tony Baxter, "Before the last leaves of autumn fall, Sleeping Beauty will awake again within the castle walls. Of course in California, the last leaves don't fall until sometime in January." There are rumored reopening dates in mid-November, but those are just rumors.

Sleepless, do you have that bit saved somewhere on your computer? lol I love how you keep copying it and how you are so patient with your answer. :)

If you board at TL then you will go straight into the dinosaurs but I like to do the round trip so will often get on in MS or NOS and ride it all the way around. :) I rarely get on or off in TL because you have to walk right thru the crowd of smokers and I just don't like doing that....... :)

Also, there's the Grand Canyon diarama before the dinosaur one. I love all those animals!

I was thinking the exact same thing as I read his post.:rotfl2:

Now that's a good idea. Would save me time everytime I type it. :goodvibes

I like quoting it because it's funny and probably because I actually heard Tony Baxter himself say it at the panel discussion on the film Sleeping Beauty when I saw it at El Capitan in August. I want people to hear what Disney (or an employee has said in a public forum) so they know what to expect and not be disappointed when an attraction was not open even though internet speculation said and/or hoped it would be.

LOL Well, maybe you should save it! LOL What an awesome experience to have! I would probably have it memorized too. :) Kudos to you!!

And the music - Grand Canyon Suite. I was very disappointed the first time at WDW and they did not have the Grand Canyon Diorama / Primevil World.
