Anyway,
this year during our trip 2 Disney we might go to see the Harry Potter exhibit at Universal studios/Islands of Adventure. Since we have to take a cab to U.S/I.A I guess we pay for admission for Islands of Adventure instead of U.S?
Also how bad/good are the crowds for November for HP?

early november is good.
anytime tday and that weekend is crowded.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is in Islands of Adventure, not Universal Studios. A one-day/one-park ticket is good for either and is not park-specific.

WWoHP is a small and extremely popular area, so you can expect crowds almost any day of the year. If you are going in early- to mid-November, crowds should be pretty manageable. If you are going near Thanksgiving weekend, crowds will be heavy.

Lastly, I wouldn't think of it as an "exhibit," which makes it sound like an art gallery with still lifes hanging on the wall. It is an extremely well-realized themed area that everyone says rivals the best WDW has to offer, and many of those say it outdoes it. It is a themed land offering rides, shows, stores, a restaurant, and an ambience all its own.
