how far in advance do i need to perches getawaytoday.com tickets for park and dinning?

also if i needed to cancel any days at my hotle how far in advance do i need to do that?
(im looking at a two week time pieriod becosue thqats when i would have to buy the bus tickets. Is that enough for a package from get away today to get to me.)

also how far in advance do i need to order from albertsons or vons to be delivered in our hotel? a week good?)

ok few questions regarding food
i have a list of a few places im gona try for sure. and had a few questions. Im making my lists.

1. at plaza inn can you get frys in stead of mashed taters?
2. has any one ever been stoped from ordering kids meals for them selfs? (i look at many menus and see that i dont eat much thats there im gona be eatting lots nuggets and frys i can already tell lol and i dont mind at all
3. whats the name of the place that had the bowl from night mare before christmas (zeros bowl)

I cant answer all of your ?s, but I will attempt some. Regarding changing the amount of nights in your hotel, it depends on your hotel. Where are you staying? I remember you had considered Desert Inn & Suites, and they have a 48hour cancelation policy, which means if you need to cancel, it must be before 48 hours before your check in, or you still have to pay 1 nights room fee. For just reducing the number of nights, you can do that when you get there at most places without a penalty. But again, it depends on where you are staying, I would call them and ask.

I dont know of anybody being stopped from ordering a kids meal. How do they know who you are ordering for??

The only restaurant that I know that featured NBC stuff was French Market in NOS. THey have recently changed their menu, so I dont know if they still offer Zeros bowl or whatever it is.

There are some who say only kids can get kids meals at *sit down* places.

But I've gotten kids meals at Rancho del Zocalo, Cocina Cucamonga, and Plaza Inn with no problems. They don't require that you show a kid to buy the meal. So it's really not a big deal at all.

You'll have to look at the info with your specific reservation for the hotel. When I booked Carousel for last January, although I think they normally have an easier cancel policy, b/c I went through Travelocity or Orbitz, I had to cancel 5 days out. It was b/c of that surprise that I couldn't cancel them and get the last minute (within the week before I went!) HoJo Entertainment Book rate that suddenly showed up.

For buying GAT tickets, you don't actually need to show anything beyond your ID when you pick them up, so nothing needs to reach you. I would recommend calling them about the meal vouchers, to see if it's the same. Just ask them how far in advance you need to buy them.

For grocery delivery, it all depends on their delivery window and how booked they are. You might be able to get it ordered for your needed time the day before, or there might be a ton of people ordering and they'll be booked already! Safeway (Von's outside of southern CA) has never charged me BEFORE I got my items, they always charge after, so you should look into their cancel policies as well. And I don't know about Albertsons, but with Vons it's best to create an account (or log in if you already have one), go to the delivery window page and choose a time right then and there. That way you have already reserved that time, so if 100 people log in to make an order for that window, it's already held for you.

good tip bumbershoot...Albertsons is the same way...however, they put up schedules a week at a time...for example: right now the schedule is from today- sept. 6 and the delivery times start at 8:30am and end at 9:30pm...so what I would do is as bumbershoot said and register online using the address for the hotel and familiarize yourself with the website so you can start tracking when the day you want to have groceries delivered comes up...you will have to act fast because they fill up quick

im thinking of cancleing the first night of our trip so i was just wondering about that. the food a week out is perfect i should know for fact what im doing by monday but no matter what were going and gona have at the least three good days and the party on the 10th so were all good and ill pm you about the light chaser i am intrested.

When you purchase the character meals from GAT, remember to change the date from whatever it defaults to to the actual date you are arriving - this will save lots of headaches! You can pick those up with the park hoppers (if you're getting those through GAT too).
