Questions regarding renting points

Mods please feel free to move if I posted this in the wrong forum.

We were originally going to take a cruise on the Fantasy, but after doing the math, I cannot justify paying $8k for a cruise. So to make it up to my kids I would like to take them to their dream resort, AKL. It appears the cost is more reasonable to rent points, but I have a few questions.

1. Can Magical Express be used?
2. Can the dining pkg be purchased?
3. When park tickets are purchased are they linked to the room key?

Yes to all three questions.

You work with the member you rent from on the first two. Some may not wish to add the dining plan, but it usually isn't an issue. It does need to be paid for in advance, and there is never "free dining" with a points reservation.

The third, you can buy your tickets however. A lot of us use a broker, like undercover tourist or maple leaf tickets. If you go to conceirge, they can move those tickets onto room keys. This is done completely independently of your room reservation.
