Questions regarding drinks on & off DDP

Do most table service restaurants charge you for separately for drinks? I know buffets include drinks but the other TS's charge for cokes, ice tea, etc., right??

For instance, I'm looking at GF Cafe right now but don't see a price for drinks except coffee and specialty drinks so I just want to make sure I'm comparing prices correctly. Would it be safe to estimate a soda to be about $3??

Would you be able to get something like this as a "drink" (or even as a dessert) on the dining plan???

2) Yes
3) No these are never covered on the dining plan. Some places may allow a smootie or milkshake as a drink though.

At the buffets your drink is included.
At a reg. TS place your drink is extra...even with an all you can eat family style meal (like the skillet at WCC).

Sorry you can't get the cute little kids drinks with the glow tinker or buzz lightyear. Those you have to pay for.

Now if you are on the dining plan and are eating at Whispering Canyon or 50's Primetime you can get a shake for your drink.

I've found that a good rule of thumb for the drinks is that you can get any non-alcoholic drink that doesn't have a souvenir as your drink on the dining plan. If there's any kind of souvenir at all (tink, buzz, cup, glow cube, etc) then it's not covered by the dining plan.
