Questions re. Premium APs

We went from planning a San Diego trip during Thanksgiving week to buying Premium APs and spending the week at DL instead. Long story. At first, we planned to renew our Deluxe APs but we hemmed and hawed too long and missed the renewal date and discount. We went with Premiums because we are going to for sure celebrate Thanksgiving week at DL and also possibly Christmas week (if DH gets time off).

We had these questions for fellow Premium AP holders:

1. Does the parking that comes with the Premium AP also cover Downtown Disney parking?

2. In case the parks reach full capacity over the holidays, will Premium APs be turned away at the turnstiles?

3. Do we get a discount on Fantasmic dessert package?

No. Downtown Disney parking is separate.

Yes, we do not have precedence when we go to the parks, so go early.

I believe so, as well as the tours.

Yes, we do not have precedence when we go to the parks, so go early.

Thanks Mary Jo. We are rope drop people so no worries for the mornings. I was thinking more of when we go back to the parks after our daily afternoon naps around 6ish.

*IF* the park hits capacity and turnstiles are closed, you will not be readmitted until capacity drops enough to reopen the gates. Generally, this will happen after the parade (if not sooner.) Only on NYE does the closure routinely hold through the evening time.

True, but everyone gets 3 hours free parking per day at downtown Disney.

This is good to know. I will keep track of the parade times during the week of Thanksgiving and time our dinner and return to the park accordingly. Thanks for this helpful tip.
