Questions re: FOTL-Express benefit and RPR?

Hi -

Regarding the FOTL/Express benefit I want to make sure I undestand what we'll be able to do. We will be checking in on a Sunday (staying Sun and Mon nights) and want to go to the parks Sun, Mon and Tues. I read that the Express benefit is good for the day you check in and also the day you are leaving the hotel too but you have to have your key.

Is it going to be a problem to leave our bags with the bellhop and head out to the park at 9, keep the key and not return til 5p? If so what can be done so we have the Express benefit all day (other than staying another night)?

Regarding RPR:
How late does the pool (or any of the pools for that matter) stay open?
What is the best way to get to US from RPR? Walk, boat, or what?
What is the best method(s) to try to get a requested room or tower?

It's our first trip to US/IOA so we're excited and I'm trying to plan it all out. Thanks.

when you check in at the royal pacific hotel, have your bags stored with the valet in the luggage room. you will be given a claim check.

when you check out, have your bags taken to the valet for holding your bags until your transportation arrives.

most people that check out at 11, check their bags and then hit the parks again. this is very common practice with all guests there.
when you are ready to leave the grounds, pick up your bags at the hotel.

the hotel key is valid for all the days and check out day for fotl perks in the park.

when you make your ressie, you can request which tower you want.
the view is different in the towers.
there are pool views available, just ask for that to be put on your ressie requests.

you can also request a certain tower and view when you check into the hotel.

on the day you check out, if you don't want to stay in the parks, go to the pool. there are pool rooms for you to change in. towels are available in the pool area.

when i stayed at rph, i only used the water taxi.
i did not like walking back to the hotel in the late night hours after HHN.

you can walk, take the water taxi , ricksaw ride or a bus to get back to your hotel from the park.

Just keep your room key when you check out of the hotel. They will hold your luggage until you are ready to leave for home.
We always walk to the parks and found it faster than the water taxi. If a water taxi was at the dock in City Walk when we were ready to return to the hotel, we would sometimes take it.
The most convneienty Tower for walking to the parks is Tower 1.
