Questions re; entertainment rates...

Entertainment discount veterans ---HELP!!

I'm a bit more seasoned at Disney discounts than I am at Universal Orlando discounts - so I'd appreciate any help you all can give! We're getting married at Disney next June and spending 11 nights there - we'd like to add three additional nights at HRH. We have the 2002 entertainment book - and I just purchased the 2003 book online - but we've never used the ent book to get a hotel rate before. The Ent website says that they offer a 50% discount off the rack rate any time until the hotel is 80% booked. Can I reserve now with the Entertainment rate for June 2003 - or do they put out the rooms in blocks at different times of year? Should I book now and hope I can get the rate later? We're also AAA members - are there discounts at Universal Hotels like there are at Disney hotels?

2003 AAA Rates have been out. Fan Club Ratesfor 2003 are just coming out this week. I am sure that the Entertainment Rates will Follow. What I was told to do was book the room for the nights we wanted and then keep checking back to see when the other discounts come available.

About 3 weeks ago I booked a Club Room at the Royal Pacific at the AAA Rate of $239.00 per night. I called reservations tonight and found that the Fan Club Rate is now available for 2003. So the reservation representative changed my room rate to the Fan Club Rate of $209.00 for the exact same Club room and my reservation confirmation # remains the same.

I hear that the Entertainment rates are even less than the Fan Club rate. When they become available I will try to get that rate instead if it is less money.

I'd book the room and keep checking on the rates. Also, someone from this board will post if they find that the new discount rates have come out.
