Does anyone know if Biergarten has kid choices on the buffet?? Also, has anyone gone to Cape May Cafe for a late breakfast from Epcot and then returned to Epcot? Isn't there a boat or something?? Would that be too much for our family of 6?
Biergarten doesn't have things like chicken fingers or pizza or stuff like that. There's chicken, roast pork, ham, sausages, tons for kids. Very, very tasty, too!
Cape May is a walk away from Epcot, although you can boat it, too.

There is a boat just outside the International Gateway exit that one can take to get from Epcot to the BC. However, the boat stops at a dock closer to the YC and requires a couple minutes walking to get back to the BC. The direct walk from the IG exit to the BC takes only about 5 minutes and is much easier. Leaving Epcot for Cape May and then returning to Epcot would not be much trouble at all.
My kids can be picky and they insist on eating at the Biergarten on every trip. The mac and cheese is right up their alley but they also like the beef, the roast chicken, and love the pork shnitzel - just breaded pork, looks like chicken to them. Pretzel rolls, carrots usually, and good desserts. They love it.
It's a very short walk from BC to Epcot - takes a lot shorter than waiting in line for the boat.
I have tons and tons of buffet pics of both places in my March/April link.
I did not pay too close attention to the kids choices at Beirgarten but I think there was chicken fingers and hot dogs.
Cape May is awesome and we have done a 10:30 am breakfast there before and it is still super busy but the food is still amazing and the characters are a blast. You can walk off your breakfast and head to Epcot or take the boat
