Due to a change of plans, we are staying at the WL for the first time, in 4 days:cool1:

Is it necessary to make reservations for breakfast?
Do they have "entertainment" at breakfast?

Advanced Dining Reservations are a real good idea for Whispering Canyon. If you go real early, you can walk in, but as people start arriving the restaurant fills rapidly.

There isn't much entertainment in the mornings. (At least the morning we were there.)

Depending on early you're there - we usally did walk up for breakfast..... it can get very noisy after awhile - great skillet breakfasts!... just don't forget to ask for the ketchup for your eggs...

We are staying there in March and we opted not to make any ADRs for WCC. We will probably do at least one breakfast there and we will definately be doing at least one dinner there. I inquired about this with a Dining CM and she suggested to definately make ADRs, however you really don't have to worry until the day of, because if you are at the resort at the time you are making ADRs, then they will try to cater to your needs first....not sure if this is totally true or not. However we plan on when we want to go, either call the night before for a breakfast and then for dinner go down early to the front desk and then make ressies.

We stayed in Sept. and even with making ADRs, we had long wait time for breakfast. Our dinner ressie was a nightmare--we arrived 15 minutes early with our twin 4yr old GKids and we were told it would be a few minutes before we were seated. 40 minutes later, they told us we did not have ADR even though we had our confirmation # with us.

I'd suggest that you make your ADRs because even in Sept. there were many WL guests as well as others wanting to eat dinner.
